Orders, Payments & Merchant Responsibility
Annamay Restaurant & Bakery is responsible for accepting the order, preparing the food, delivery/pickup support, quality concerns, cancellations, eligible refunds, and customer complaints related to our products and services.
Payment providers only facilitate the payment transaction. They do not prepare, sell, deliver, return, replace, or refund food items except by routing an approved refund to the original payment source within 7 business days after verification.
If payment succeeds but the order is not accepted by the restaurant, the order will be cancelled and the eligible amount will be credited back to the original payment method within 7 business days after verification.
If a customer pays the wrong merchant, enters the wrong amount, or makes an unintended transfer, the customer should contact the restaurant immediately. Refunds for such cases are subject to verification of receipt of funds by Annamay Restaurant & Bakery and will be credited back to the original payment method within 7 business days after approval.

Payment & Refund Data
For online payments, payment partners may process transaction identifiers, payment status, refund status, bank/payment method references, and fraud-prevention signals as required to complete, verify, or reverse a transaction. Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within 7 business days after verification through PhonePe or the applicable payment gateway.
Retention & Legal Use
Order, invoice, tax, payment, refund, and complaint records may be retained for accounting, GST, FSSAI, fraud-prevention, legal compliance, and dispute-resolution purposes. Customers may request correction of inaccurate contact/order details by contacting us.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel an order within 5 minutes of placing it, provided the restaurant has not started preparing the food. Once food preparation has started, the order cannot be cancelled. Orders marked as Out for Delivery cannot be cancelled.
For cancellation requests, call +91 75239 92202 immediately with the order details. Cancellation approval depends on preparation and delivery status at the time the request is received by the restaurant.
Refund Eligibility
Payment was deducted but the order was not confirmed.
Customer was charged more than the final authorized order amount.
Wrong item(s) were delivered.
One or more paid items were missing from the order.
Food was damaged, spoiled, or not fit for consumption.
Order was cancelled by the restaurant due to unavailability or operational issues.
Duplicate payment was made for the same order.
Non-Refundable Situations
Incorrect address or phone number provided by the customer.
Delay caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
Customer dislike of taste or personal preference.
Cancellation requested after food preparation has started.
Partially consumed food items.
Refund Timeline
Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within 7 business days after verification through PhonePe or the applicable payment gateway. Failed UPI transactions are generally auto-reversed by the banking/UPI network as per applicable NPCI/RBI timelines.
Complaints & Disputes
Customers should first contact Annamay Restaurant & Bakery at annamayrestaurant@gmail.com or +91 75239 92202 with the order number, payment reference, issue details, and photo/video proof where applicable. We aim to respond within 24 hours. If a payment dispute is not resolved through us, the customer may raise the issue with their bank, UPI app, card network, or payment provider as per the applicable payment-network or chargeback process.
We maintain order, payment, refund, delivery, and complaint records for at least 120 days where required for payment disputes, chargebacks, accounting, tax, FSSAI, fraud-prevention, and legal compliance.

Shipping & Delivery Policy
For food orders, "shipping" means restaurant delivery within our selected service areas. We do not ship perishable food by courier or postal service.
We currently deliver only to selected locations within our service area. Delivery availability depends on distance, weather, traffic, and operational conditions. Orders placed outside the service area may be cancelled and refunded as applicable.
Estimated delivery time is usually 30-60 minutes. The maximum estimated delivery time is 90 minutes unless the restaurant communicates a different estimate before accepting or dispatching the order.
Delivery charges may apply depending on distance, order value, offers, and peak-time demand. Applicable charges are shown before payment.
Customers must provide the correct delivery address and contact number, be available to receive the order, and ensure someone is present at the delivery location.
Contactless delivery may be available upon request.
Orders may be cancelled if the customer cannot be contacted, the address is incorrect, or delivery is not possible due to safety or access issues.
Food is prepared following hygiene and safety standards. Customers are advised to consume delivered food promptly after receiving it.
Late, Missing, Or Undelivered Orders
If an accepted prepaid order is not delivered, is delivered materially later than the maximum estimated delivery time without customer consent, or arrives with paid items missing, damaged, defective, or materially different from the order description, the customer should contact us with the order and payment details. After verification, we may provide exchange, replacement, store credit, partial refund, or full refund as applicable.
